Tasking a tool on real sector work

By the end, the learner can

• Switching-sequence planning: directs an AI assistant to draft de-energization and grounding sequences for a planned repair, then reviews every step against local operating procedures before executing on live infrastructure.
• Equipment operation planning: queries an AI assistant to generate a sanding sequence (coarse-to-fine grit progression, pass direction, machine speed settings) tailored to floor species and condition, then applies professional judgment to adjust on-site.
• Installation procedure drafting: prompts an AI tool to draft step-by-step staging and scaffolding plans from blueprint data, then edits the output against physical site conditions and safety regulations.

2. 15 minA good pass and a bad passDemonstrate troubleshooting decision support as a boilermaker would do it. The technique is yours to teach — this plan covers the judgment around it, so narrate the decision points out loud and name which parts were judgment and which were procedure.
   • Do it once at working pace so the shape is visible.
   • Do it again, stopping at each point where a different call was possible.
   • Name the one mistake that costs the most here, and why it's tempting.
