- Post orders and site maps: read and reference to understand assigned coverage areas and applicable security policies before beginning solo patrols.
- Airframe visual inspection: perform under direct supervision to identify obvious wear, cracks, and surface defects on assigned aircraft sections in a certified maintenance facility.
Where the technique itself comes from
This module builds the judgment around the task — the standard it has to meet, what to verify, what to hand off, and where it goes wrong. It does not teach the technique. Learning to transfer a patient safely, disinfect a scope, or run a weld comes from supervised practice and your program's own training, and this assessment measures whether you have it rather than replacing it.
